Machine has the purpose to select, place and screw the plugs in the holes of car batteries. It is composed as follow:
Mainframe made of carbon steel painted, equipped with adjustable foots, safety panels and doors – all equipped with safety devices in according to CE standards.
N° 1 box for store of plugs (capacity approx.. 4000 plugs) with pneumatic feed system of plugs to circular vibrators.
N° 1 selection system for plugs M18 (*) equipped with: n° 2 circular vibrators and N° 2 rectilinear vibrators for selection of plugs. The selection system is adjustable, by gear motor, in order to height of battery. Circular and rectilinear vibrators for plugs are independently adjustable along Y axle by gear motor in order to position of holes of battery.
N° 2 screwings heads for plugs M18. Pneumatic screwer with couple control. The plugs are screwed by screw driver.
Battery transport with support frame made of stainless steel AISI 316L. Belt conveyor made of polypropylene. The transport is equipped with synchronizer, stoppers and battery containing guides. The stoppers are moved by brushless motor and they shift the battery at step corresponding to wheelbase of holes where the plugs must be screwed.
Electrical cabinet with PLC Siemens S7-300, operator interface panel, push-button panel for manual commands.
(*) The machine above described is able to process the car batteries, but it can be realized with selection system suitable for truck batteries or equipped with both systems to process both type of batteries.
